Serene Canada Goose

$185.00

Part of my recent “In the Fog” series.  This is a view of the Tomhannock Reservior in Upstate New York, close to the Vermont border, on the opposite side of the reservoir from the Island Fog scene.  In near-freezing temperatures, there had been a gaggle of geese in the area as I arrived.  With the right winter coat and a windless day, it was comfortable enough for me to watch the view and enjoy the scene.  Eventually the larger flock moved to a nearby area along the shoreline.  But this individual stayed in view, paddling so softly that the water’s surface remained undisturbed, posing in perfect profile while I designed the composition.

The image is 16 x 24, hand signed and numbered, with accompanying Certificate of Authentication, part of a limited edition of 10, plus two artist’s prints.

The white border you see is for presentation purposes only, so the image will stand out on the web site and give you an idea of what it might look like with a white mat.  You of course are free to display the image in your favorite style to match your home’s décor.
